Following is the schedule leading to our 2011 festival.  If you're already familiar with us and have Victorian dress, please join us in costume.  If not, come to learn what we're all about.

All events are at Barnes & Noble at The Galleria at Tyler in Riverside from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 September 11, 2010 - Meet Queen Victoria.  This is your opportunity to be introduced to Her Majesty Queen Victoria and to chat with her regarding her thoughts on Mr. Dickens. 
 

October 23, 2010 - We're having a Ball at the Dickens Festival.  Join in as we demonstrate the dances you will encounter at Mr. Fezziwig's Ball.  Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig will be present to greet you and Dance Mistress Robin Bancroft will invite you to join the dance demonstrations.


November 13, 2010 - Mr. Dickens and Mr. Pickwick will join us. The gentlemen will most certainly launch into a bit of friendly discussion.  It is almost certain Mr. Pickwick will question Mr. Dickens as to why he chose to outfit Mr. Pickwick in such an interesting costume.

December 11, 2010 - Dressing for Dickens.  A presentation on how to assemble your Victorian costume whether you want information on finding sewing patterns or advice on using thrift store finds.  Also you'll learn what is era appropriate and what is not. 

January 8, 2011 - Costumed members of the festival board and committees will be present to share the latest information on the upcoming festival.
