  • 2016 High School Drama Performance Rules

    Up to five schools will be chosen to perform at the Festival on a first-come, first-served basis depending on date of registration. Performances will be scheduled on both Festival days (Sat. Feb. 21, and Sun. Feb. 22, 2015), three performances on Saturday and two on Sunday afternoon. Schools may choose their performance days in the order in which they register. Following registration, the drama teacher in charge of each school’s performance will be required to sign a Letter of Intent to guarantee the school’s commitment to perform at the Festival on their assigned day.

  • Riverside Dickens Festival Middle School Essay Contest 2015-2016

    The festival this year is once again sponsoring an essay contest for middle school writers (grades 6-8). Prizes of $100, $50, and $25 are available for entries judged worthy of an award. The essay contest is intended to encourage literacy through reading Dickens’s A Christmas Carol with thought and relating his work to our current culture and events.
